This Jumpsuit is Jumpin’ Jumpin’

July 2nd, 2018

Perfecting festival chic is a must for fashionistas who are willing to make it work — no matter the weather or the terrain. While a distressed pair of cut-off shorts and cute tank is still summer festival fab, why not stand out from the crowd in a vividly printed jumpsuit?

Festivals at their heart are casual gatherings that call for the best food (on a stick), great music, revelry and a celebration of life’s simplest joys. But there’s no reason why you shouldn’t look amazing, too.

I’m often asked why I wear jumpsuits and rompers so often. The answer is simple: They are a one-stop shop for a complete look. No mixing and matching a top and a bottom. Whether it’s a simple jersey knit or a silky stunner, there’s a perfect match for every woman’s personal style (and some guys, too!).

Once you choose a jumpsuit, don’t forget to finish your look with A-plus accessories. Mules, flat sandals or chunky heels are a great match. (If you’re on the shorter side like me, you may want to stick to a chunky heel!).

Your jewelry also needs to provide the perfect finish. If your jumpsuit is a lot of look, like this printed number, opt for modest jewelry, such as a simple bangle stack, a few stackable rings and a pendant or two. On the other hand, a more basic jumpsuit will pair well with accessories that truly pop.

Either way, the ideal on-the-go handbag is essential. I love anything white, as the chic neutral plays well with all tones from other neutrals to colorful hues. And of course, popping the look with statement sunglasses is a MUST.

If you keep it simple and pay attention to the oh-so-important posh details, your style will be best at the fest this summer.
